Gases have much energy (kinetic energy) to break all intermolecular forces of attraction. And it is these forces when they interact between molecules that they are calld van der waals forces.A Real Gas Acts As Follow:Gas particles move independently and at random. When heated at temperatures greater than 5000c it gets so energetic, that the amount of kinetic energy will break electrons out of the atom. Giving room to a physical change change.Gases are always in continous random motion. They take up the shape of the container just like liquids.I'll do a research on van der waals' equation. But here is the ideal gas equation.P=nRT/VMeaning Of Each Character:R=universal gas constant equivalent to 8.31 j/mol/kn= number of molesT=temperatureV=volumeP=pressure. *

Van Der Waals Equation: P=[nRT/(V-nb)]-n2a/V2 *
